Our lifestyle has completely transformed and become hectic due to many reasons. We people are not much into physical activities, we are consuming things that we should not. We have realized how important it is to have a strong immune system after Covid 19 pandemic. So we should know about the things which nourish our body and mind for better health. This blog is also going to talk about important things which are good for your body and mind.

Balanced Nutrition

So we should include fruits, vegetables, whole grains and healthy fats and other food products that have nutrients in our diet because our body needs different types of nutrients for proper functionality. By including the mentioned foods we will get all essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants which can support our immune system to function better and they are also good for overall vitality.


We can include strawberries, bell peppers and citrus fruits for immune function and skin health and for white blood cells production as they have vitamin c which is responsible for this.

Hydration

We should also focus on keeping our body hydrated because whenever we talk about health and healthy lifestyle our main focus is on only edible products, we rarely talk about the importance of water. Hydration is also important as eating essential food. Water helps in good  digestion, nutrient absorption, and also maintains energy levels. So have seven to eight glasses of water daily for good health.

Regular Physical Activity

For a healthy lifestyle eating good food and drinking enough water is not sufficient. We should do regular exercise and involve ourselves in physical activity daily. Involvement in physical activity and doing exercise enhance heart health. We should do muscle-strengthening exercises along with normal exercise for two hours and if you are doing hard exercise then do for around one hour or until you feel capable.

Exercise Which You Should Do: 

  • Cardiovascular Exercises: For good heart rate and for burning calories you should do walking, running and cycling, this will improve health health and overall fitness.

  • Strength Training:For body strength incorporate body-weight exercise like weight lifting such type of exercise improve functional strength.

  • Flexibility and Balance: Do yoga and stretching exercises to improve flexibility and reduce stress.

Mental Health

Till now we covered a major part that focuses on physical fitness of the body but never forget that if your mind is not happy then nothing will work. Mental health is as important as physical health. So do mindfulness and meditation, have adequate sleep and make social connections for better mental health.

Healthy Habits

People should include healthy habits in their daily routine as those positive or healthy habits can have a significant impact on their overall well being. Read below points to know about simple and effective practices:

  • Mindful Eating: Never eat in a hurry . You should enjoy your food while having it and also avoid overeating. Eating less or more is not a factor in weight management, eating good and in manner supports weight management.

  • Limit Processed Foods: Listen to your mind not your tongue, do not go for processed foods. You can eat them but not frequently otherwise get ready for many problems.

  • Regular Health Check-Ups: Go for regular check-ups for getting safe from potential risks.
